Did you know there are some fabulous venues an easy drive from Southern Pines and Pinehurst? The Cary Amphitheatre at Regency Park is one. We recently had the opportunity to see Duran Duran there. They were GREAT! I highly recommend that you see them if they’re going to be in your area.

These kids are having a great time in a pool in Southern Pines. This was one of the days when the water temperature was over 80 degrees last summer (2007). That time is again approaching fast. While winter is never dreary in this area, the Sandhills of North Carolina, it’s sure nice to have that behind us. We have months of swimming, cookouts hikes, fishing, boating and all kinds of activities ahead.
